Open photo walks across cities, edges & peaks.

STOMP South Yorkshire is a collaboration between TYCE, The Sheffield Darkroom, J&A Photography, Reyt Dark and Adam Galliford and offers a recurring series of informal photo walks exploring Sheffield and the landscapes within a train ride of the city.

What is STOMP?

STOMP is a recurring photo walk series. It is both urban and rural, informal and social and open to all cameras and abilities.

There’s no structured teaching and no fixed agenda - but there will always be a wide range of experience on the walk. If you want to ask questions, compare approaches or solve problems together, that’s encouraged.

We walk. We shoot. We share knowledge naturally.

For STOMP 01, one image selected by our panel and shared within a month of the walk will receive 2 x tickets to a screening at The Showroom.

We’re not looking for perfection - just work that captures the spirit of the day.

Deadline for entries is 14th April with the winner announced on our digital channels after 15th April.

Where we meet.

Outside Sheffield Station by The Salmon of Steel so there’s plenty of space for a big turn out.
