Our Darkroom Gift Vouchers can be used towards any of our sessions, workshops, or services - whether it's a guided printing session, a full day workshop or a chunk of alone time under the safelights.

Vouchers are sold as £40, £80, £120, £150, £200, £275 and £350 digital vouchers which can be redeemed against any time, workshop or service in our darkroom.

We’ll email your voucher once your order is confirmed - perfect for birthdays, holidays or spontaneous acts of analogue kindness - print or forward on at your leisure.

Every voucher includes a free Darkroom Membership (if they aren’t already), even if our introductory free period has ended.

Pay for a 4-hour session in our darkroom. If you haven’t booked a session yet via your membership log in, please do so before paying here to avoid disappointment. Our space is set up for calm, focussed work - perfect whether you’re developing your first print or fine-tuning a contact sheet. Chemistry, trays, tongs, and safelights are all provided. Just bring your paper and your negatives.

Includes:

• 4-hour darkroom slot

Bring your own paper. Based in the Cathedral Quarter at Bank Street Studios. Please ensure you have paid for all of your booked sessions i.e. if you have booked 2 sessions, you will need to add 2 £40 products to your bag.

Always allow 15 minutes BEFORE the end of your session to clean down. The darkroom must be left in perfect condition for the next user.

Perfect for those with some darkroom experience who’d like a little extra support as they get going. This 4-hour session includes access to Sheffield’s only publicly rentable darkroom, plus up to 2 hours of dedicated 1-to-1 assistance from a member of our team. We’ll help you get set up, guide you through the process, answer questions and troubleshoot as needed - ideal if you're returning to the darkroom after a break or just want a confidence boost. Already got your own negatives and ready to bring them to life? This session is all about printing. Bring your black and white negatives and spend a half day in the darkroom learning how to enlarge and perfect your images under expert guidance. Whether you’ve never printed before or just want a refresher, we’ll walk you through each step and help you get the most out of your work.

Priced at £275 for one person and £350 for a maximum of two people to enjoy together.

Join us for a full-day deep dive into the analogue process - from first frame to final print. Whether you're flying solo or coming with a friend, this immersive session will take you through the entire journey: shooting, developing and printing your own black and white photographs.

What’s Included:

• 1-hour welcome, induction & theory session (camera basics, darkroom essentials, composition, exposure etc)

• 2-hour photo walk / indoor shooting session (film & camera provided if needed)

• 1-hour film processing session (you’ll develop your own negatives!)
